What's Everyone Reading?

Nothing beats a good book you get into and can't put down, or leaves you constantly trying to get in as much reading time between all the other jobs you have in a day! We have recently written about JJ's most-watched tv shows, but what about all our book lovers out there? Well don't worry besties, we got you too!

Collen Hoover was a popular author when we asked what everyone is currently reading. With Linda and Kirsty both reading, It Starts With Us and Jess reading Verity!

It Starts With Us is the sequel to It Ends With Us. Without giving too many spoilers, this book is a romance novel that picks up right from where we were left at the end of It Ends With Us, following the next chapter of Lily’s life. If you haven’t read either of these yet, do yourself a favor and start! We promise it's one you won't be able to put down.

Verity is a romantic thriller that follows Lowen Ashleigh, a struggling writer on the brink of financial ruin when she accepts the job offer of a lifetime. Jeremy Crawford, the husband of bestselling author Verity Crawford, has hired Lowen to complete the remaining books in a successful series his injured wife is unable to finish. Lowen arrives at the Crawford home, ready to sort through years of Verity's notes and outlines, hoping to find enough material to get her started. What Lowen doesn't expect to uncover in the chaotic office is an unfinished autobiography Verity never intended for anyone to read. Page after page of bone-chilling admissions, including Verity's recollection of what really happened the day her daughter died.

Skye and Sommer are both loving autobiographies at the moment.

Skye recommended Emma Carey’s, The Girl Who Fell From The Sky. A truly inspiring book, when Emma Carey was twenty, she fell from 14,000 feet and survived. Emma tells us the inspirational story of how she found her truest self through what could be considered one of her greatest tragedies.

Sommer is loving My Dream Time, the newly released Ash Barty Biography. It's a tennis story. It's a family story. It's a teamwork story. It's the story of how she got to where and who she is today.

Lisa is reading Hearstrong by Ellidy Pullin. A powerful, moving memoir on love, loss, and this one precious life. Alex 'Chumpy' Pullin's tragic death led wife, Ellidy to welcome daughter Minnie through IVF. It's a must-read this one!

Ruby is reading another memoir by Jennette McCurdy, I’m Glad My Mom Died. The book is about her career as a child actress and her difficult relationship with her abusive mother who died in 2013

With some amazing book recommendations coming in from our JJ team, we have no doubt these will keep your bookshelf full for a little while.
